Grid Resilience and Infrastructure Defense – Physical Security Workshop Hosted by TMEPA and Langston Construction Company

This FREE in-person event will explore essential physical security concepts and technologies, including Design Basis Threat (DBT), Vulnerability of Integrated Security Analysis (VISA) application, and standards such as CIP-003, CIP-006, and CIP-014.

Participants will engage in a hands-on lab focusing on the DBT and VISA applications, which will include a substation walk-down, hosted by NES. Please ensure you bring your personal protective equipment, including a hard hat, goggles or safety glasses, and boots or closed-toe shoes, for the lab activities. We look forward to your active participation.

On the 1st page, under REGION choose SERC.

On the 2nd page, under SERC Region choose A Unknown Company. 

An email will be sent by SERC University to confirm registration on their platform.

Step 2: Log in and search for search for GridSecure Workshop hosted by TMEPA in SERC University.

There is no cost for TMEPA members to attend!

This workshop is officially recognized for 20 Continuing Education Hours (CEHs) by NERC for individuals holding the NERC Certified System Operators (NCSO) credential. Additionally, it is accredited through the ASIS Preferred CPE Provider Program and has been pre-approved for 20 Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits. Please note that participation is limited to 30 individuals.
