Loudon Utility Board (LUB) in Loudon, Tennessee is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Directors of the Electric and the Gas, Water and Wastewater departments by performing a variety of administrative tasks.

This position will report to the Director of Electric. The individual awarded this position will be proficient in office computer systems and software applications, i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.  We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, good communication skills and proven ability to deliver quality work in a dynamic environment.  The ideal candidate will possess an Associate Degree in a business or related field and/or extensive administrative support experience.

Director of Finance, Loudon Utilities

 

Loudon Utilities Board (LUB), located in Loudon, TN provides over 11,000 customers with electric, natural gas, water, and wastewater services.  LUB is seeking a Director of Finance. This position which reports directly to the General Manager will provide leadership to LUB’s Finance and Accounting Department to optimize our financial performance and strategic position. This individual will recommend and develop capital budget plans for asset management and system improvements while ensuring effective internal controls are in place for compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.

 

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Control of the company’s accounting function
  • Coordination of treasury function to manage depository and investment accounts
  • Procurement of financing instruments to satisfy capital infrastructure
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess a degree in Accounting, Finance or    related field and five (5) years managerial experience as well as exceptional   communication skills.  LUB desires an energetic and highly motivated individual with    a passion for excellent performance.

I T Technician, Loudon Utilities

 

Loudon Utility Board (LUB) in Loudon, Tennessee is seeking an I T Technician to serve the various departments of LUB and the city of Loudon.

This position reports to the Director of Support Services. The individual awarded this position will provide the first point of contact for LUB/City staff seeking information technology assistance. This position will perform a full range of computing support services including user and technical support for: Windows operating systems; E-Mail; Backup systems; Active Directory; software product updates; vulnerability resolution; and support of other software products commonly used on LUB/City systems Additional duties for this position include the maintenance of information technology hardware and resources, installation and minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, and administer of Window server systems and local area network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field and/or five (5) years of Information Technology experience.
